I spent a significant portion of my childhood in San Antonio and am happy to be practicing in this city. After receiving my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994, I received my doctorate from Texas Tech University in 1999 with further training at Arizona State University and The University of Texas Health Science Center. Prior to starting my own private practice, I provided psychotherapy to individuals and couples in my role as the Director of the Counseling Service at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
